~ Kentucky Pollinators and Backyard Wildlife ~
I wanted to quickly let you know about a couple of events coming up in the next few days. Saturday, April 21, is the SoKY Earth Day Festival. This event will take place on the square in Franklin, KY from 10:00 until 2:00. I will have a booth with plants for pollinators (mostly native plants) and copies of my book. As always, I’m also happy to talk to anyone who wants to discuss how to improve their pollinator habitat or just talk about pollinators and wildlife.
Then on Tuesday, April 24, at 6:30, I’ll be giving a talk titled “Honey Bees, Native Bees, and Creating a Bee-Friendly Landscape” at the Warren County Extension Office. The talk is hosted by the Warren County Master Gardeners and the Warren County Beekeepers Association. Everyone is welcome to attend, but please call the Extension Office (270-842-1681) to register so we can get a rough idea of how many people might be attending. I’ve been asked to bring copies of my book to that event as well.
If you are in the area and want to attend either event, you are welcome to do so.
Have a great day!
