National Pollinator Week is coming up June 21-27. A great way to celebrate is by planting species in your garden and landscape that will attract pollinators (and often a variety of other wildlife) to your yard. And, I just happen to know where you might find some of those plants… <big grin>
My next pre-ordered delivery for Bowling Green will be on June 19. On June 20, I will be hosting my third by-appointment Open House at the farm. Each appointment is for 30-minutes to allow you plenty of time to shop, ask questions, etc. without having anyone else around. You can see open appointment times and schedule your Open House appointment on this calendar.
All of my plants are beneficial to honey bees, native pollinators, and wildlife. Several new species of plants will be available for the pre-ordered delivery and Open House. I am also down to my last few jars of honey from the 2020 harvest. If you want any, be sure to let me know quickly. Here is a list of everything I’ll have available on June 19 and 20.
I also know that sometimes it can all be a little overwhelming, especially if you are just starting out or have a larger piece of property. The questions can be endless.
- What will grow well given the unique conditions of my property?
- What do I need to grow or do to attract certain types of pollinators and wildlife?
- How do I care for my new plants and the habitat I am trying to create?
Are just a few of the many questions that you may be asking. If so, I can help with that too. In addition to the plants that I grow and sell, I also offer a variety of consulting services to help you create the pollinator and wildlife habitat of your dreams. Please contact me if you think my consulting services would help you.
After next weekend, my next round of pre-ordered deliveries will be July 2 for Glasgow and July 3 for Bowling Green. If you have any questions, please let me know and I’ll be happy to help in any way I can.
