July 30 and 31 Pre-ordered Deliveries of Native Plants and More for Busy Bee Nursery

My next round of pre-ordered deliveries will be next weekend. I’ll be doing a Glasgow delivery at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 30, and a Bowling Green delivery at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31.

Cup plant is one of my favorite summer blooming native plants for pollinators. You need to give it room to spread, but bees, butterflies, and even hummingbirds love it. The cup plants in my garden are constantly buzzing with activity right now. The plants I have for sale in the nursery aren’t blooming, but they will likely bloom next year.

Native Plants

I can’t believe how quickly some of my native plants are growing now! They really have taken off in the last few weeks.

If you are concerned about planting at this time of year, it is possible to successfully do so. Just don’t do it on an extremely hot day and make sure you give the plants plenty of water for the rest of the season. The rain we were getting on a semi-regular basis was helpful, but you will need to water your new plants if it doesn’t start raining again soon.

Also, don’t forget that I offer pollinator and wildlife habitat consulting services. I can help you create the pollinator and wildlife habitat of your dreams. Please contact me if you want to learn more.

Honey

I have a few jars of honey from my 2020 harvest left. My 2021 honey will be available for the Aug. 15 Open House.

I harvested my 2021 honey on July 4 and July 10, but things have been pretty busy lately and I haven’t had a chance to bottle it yet. Rather than try to rush and get it done before next weekend, I’m giving myself a little more time and plan to have it available for my Open House on August 15. In the meantime, I still have a few jars of 2020 honey left.

Availability List

Here is the list of everything I’ll have available for July 30 and 31. After next weekend, my next pre-ordered delivery to Bowling Green will be August 14. The next Open House will be August 15. If you have any questions, please let me know and I’ll be happy to help in any way I can.
