DESCRIPTION:Presentation (10:00 – 11:00): \n\n\n\nSimple Ways to Make Your Yard More Eco-friendly\n\n\n\nThe traditional image of a “perfect yard\,” is a lush\, well-manicured\, heavily fertilized\, weed-free expanse of solid green grass. However\, more and more people are recognizing that this type of yard is not very ecologically friendly. In this program\, we’ll discuss why the traditional “perfect yard” is not ecologically friendly and simple steps you can take to correct that. \n\n\n\n\nCost\n\nFree for members of Lost River Cave\n\n\n\n$10 for non-members (all proceeds go to Lost River Cave)\n\n\n\n\n\nContact Lost River Cave to register\n\nhttps://www.lostrivercave.org/\n\n\n\n270-393-0077\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNative Plant Sale (10:00 – 4:00):\n\n\n\nWe will have a booth set up throughout the day where I will have my native plants\, books\, and honey for sale. I anticipate I will have details on exactly which plants will be available approximately a week and a half to two weeks before the plant sale. (It’s early in the season so things are still waking up and the weather in late March / early April will play a big role in what’s available on Earth Day.)  \n\n\n\nDetails on what plants will be available will be posted here and included in Busy Bee Nursery and Consulting’s Gardening for Pollinators and Wildlife newsletter.
